9 hole vs. 18 hole rounds

9-hole rounds are adjusted in order to be meaningful on these graphs:

  • Last Round
  • Round-by-Round Progress

In order to consistently indicate values per round, the values for any 9-hole rounds are doubled on the Last Round per round and Round-by-Round Progress per round graphs so that may represent values for a full round of golf.

This is not the case for Season Averages and the Zoomable Progress Graph, which combine two 9-hole rounds to make one 18-hole round, similar to the way the USGA combines 9-hole rounds for purposes of calculating handicap index. Likewise, per stroke graphs do not require any adjustment to simulate full 18-hole rounds.

See Per Round and Per Stroke Values for clarification on this distinction.
